Day 1 Day 1 — Arrive & Ponta da Piedade

Fly into Faro (FAO). Base in Lagos, Albufeira or Vilamoura. Afternoon kayak or cliff walk at Ponta da Piedade sea caves; dinner in Lagos old town.

Day 2 Day 2 — Sagres & Cape St. Vincent

Sagres Fortress and Cabo de São Vicente — Europe’s south-western tip. Afternoon watching winter surf at Cordoama or Castelejo on empty Atlantic sand.

Day 3 Day 3 — Silves & Portimão

Moorish castle at Silves (almond blossom capital in February), then Portimão waterfront for grilled sardines and Praia da Rocha.

Day 4 Day 4 — Golf or Ria Formosa

Prime golf season at Quinta do Lago / Vale do Lobo / Vilamoura — or a boat trip into Ria Formosa Natural Park for flamingos and barrier-island beaches.
